Hi Eat Sweat Smile readers I’m Monica from Run Eat Repeat. I’ve been blogging for 3 1/2 years and have no idea why people actually read it. I don’t run fast or have good tips on anything other than where to find the best Natalie Dee cartoons. But, stop by and say “Hi” if you’re bored at school or work
Danielle wants me to describe my blog in 5 words or less so here it goes… Mexican Blogger Runs and EATS.
1. Favorite post? Least favorite post?
My favorite post is my recent Long Beach Marathon recap. Mostly because it was like documenting that time I almost died… (Psst it’s Dani-read all about Monica’s marathon experience here!)
My least favorite post is anytime I complained about my weight, but binged later that night. I used to have BIG issues. Now I have little ones.
2. Why did you start blogging?
I started my blog to document training for my first marathon and my attempts to lose weight. It really was just supposed to be like an online diary for me to keep track, but I’m so happy that other people care enough to read about it
3. How do you keep coming up with new content that will keep your readers interested?
Wait. I’m not supposed to take pictures of the exact same breakfast everyday and blog about it?! Shit.
5. Most memorable blogging moment or biggest blogging achievement?
I met Bob Harper twice this summer because of the blog. That was pretty amazing. Although, I think he has a restraining order out on me now…
9. What’s one food that you couldn’t live without? WATERMELON.
15. Anything else we should know about you or your blog?
I cuss too much, eat too much, dirty too many dishes, talk too loud, dress too sloppy, buy too many magazines, laugh just the right amount and am trying to be better every day.
