Over the years, I’ve become more okay with the idea that you don’t need an entire gym to get in a really good workout. Lately I’ve even been flirting with the idea of dropping my gym…but we’ll see.
In the meantime, I’ve been developing workouts that require little to no equipment and can be done at home. Here are today’s workout equipment requirements-
You don’t really even need a kettlebell-you can substitute a dumbbell, but I was really excited to use my brand new 25 pound kettlebell. My excitement over this hunk of metal is probably why my boyfriend has recently started to call me “Meat.” In addition to the kettlebell, you’ll also need a 10 pound dumbbell/plate and a yoga mat. For a “lap”, I ran around my block, which is just about .4 mile. You can easily do this workout at the gym or at home.
Time yourself and then try to see if you can beat your time the next time you do this workout. Check below for instructions on how to do the moves correctly!
