I disappeared for a few days and now I’m posting for the second time today! I’m just trying to keep you guys on your toes.
I found this interesting video about the accuracy of calories counts on the New York Times last week, but I thought it would be cruel to post it on Valentine’s Day. In the video, a reporter teams up with food scientists to find out how accurate those federally mandated calorie counts are. The results are interesting to say the least.
Do you trust those back of package calorie counts?




Wow I was shocked at the “healthy” sandwich. Just because it says vegan, GF, kosher, etc does not always mean that it’s healthy. With so many food choices out there and so much information, it can be difficult to make an choice but what I think is important is that you educate yourself on healthy food vs. crappy food and how that food affects you.
