The Busiest Weekend EVER.

Or at least that’s what the San Francisco area newspapers were calling it. And I wholeheartedly participated.

Friday night kicked off with my second ever trip to In ‘N Out Burger for dinner.

Followed by a Florence and the Machine concert.

Florence IS a machine.

This was probably one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I got a workout just watching Florence run from one side of the stage to the other and sing perfectly in tune (she’s amazing!).

On Saturday, I, along with my friends Christin and Laura, took in all that Fleet Week had to offer. We watched the Blue Angels fly-

oogled men in uniform (Fleet Week comes but once a year my friends!) and of course sipped mimosas on the roofdeck.

Not too shabby.

After the conclusion of the air show, we walked around town, ran into friends at the park and had a super late lunch in the Marina.

We were exhausted by the time we got back, so we recovered and then went out to dinner.

The next morning, Pat and I were up early to travel (via a Bills fan bus) to Candlestick Park to watch his beloved Buffalo Bills get destroyed by the 49ers. Although the Bills didn’t come out with a “W”, it was fun to visit Candlestick Park during one of its last seasons as the home of the 49ers (they’re building a new stadium south of the city). It’s a beautiful and historic stadium that is right on the water.

Phew. What a weekend!

Did you do anything fun this weekend?

  1. I’m so jealous you got to go see Florence! I saw her perform at Coachella this past April and she is breathtaking! Your weekend adventures make me miss living in SF…Have you seen the sign ups for the Urbanathlon? Looks fun!

    • I was in AWE of Florence during the concert she is so amazing…and I’m jealous that you went to Coachella! My friends went this year and had an amazing time so I might go in 2013. And yes I have seen the Urbanathlon sign ups and it is indeed fun! I did a relay with two friends last year and we ended up getting third for the ladies. You should definitely try it!

  1. [...] As if last weekend’s activities weren’t enough, this weekend we decided to leave the city and went to wine country. Wine! [...]
